ColorOS 17 brings a major software shift to the OnePlus 15
OnePlus is moving the OnePlus 15 to ColorOS 17, a major change to the phone’s software.
The update brings a more transparent, animated design across apps and system menus, along with smoother-feeling navigation.
OnePlus software was known for a cleaner, lighter version of Android, but it has grown closer to OPPO’s ColorOS over time.
ColorOS 17 leaves OxygenOS behind, and the new look may take some getting used to for longtime OnePlus users.
The software also adds an AI agent in Mind Pilot, powered by Manus and ChatGPT, to help with tasks such as organizing photos and making collages.
The stable rollout has started in India, and a global rollout is expected to follow soon.
