Brescia agricultural safety body allocates €360,000 for worker protection

Ebat Brescia has set aside €360,000 over two years to improve safety and protect workers’ health in farms and horticultural businesses in the Brescia area of Italy.

The agricultural body will fund safety training, protective equipment and medical checks for businesses and their employees.

It will also offer workers reimbursements for health and dental care, glasses and school costs, among other forms of support.

The funding aims to make prevention a regular part of farm work and help businesses meet their safety duties.

Ebat will promote prevention at the Fazi fair in Montichiari, alongside European Week for Safety and Health at Work.

On Friday, 23 October 2026, two events will present school safety projects and bring together organisations working on safety and legality in agricultural jobs.
