Missing 19-year-old from Sannicandro di Bari found safe

Francesco Sacchetti, a 19-year-old from Sannicandro di Bari, has been found safe after going missing for four days.

He left home on Friday, October 16, telling his parents he was going to Bari to shop.

He took a bus to Bari and was last seen at the Via Capruzzi terminal.

His phone and glasses were left at home, which added to his family’s concern and made it harder to contact him.

Carabinieri coordinated the search, checking surveillance footage and banking activity as friends and relatives shared appeals.

Sacchetti is well, but no further details about his disappearance or discovery have been released.

His family has asked for privacy.
