Big Thief Launches Free Archive of Live Concert Recordings
Big Thief has launched a free online archive of the band’s concert recordings.
The collection opens with 10 complete concerts from different periods of the group’s career.
Fans can make playlists from different live versions of the band’s songs.
A new show will be added every month, on the second Tuesday.
The project grew from drummer James Krivchenia’s interest in the Grateful Dead’s live recordings, and Big Thief began recording all its concerts around 2019.

What people are saying
Every show we play holds a different energy
The songs are always changing and sound different every night, and we spend so much more time on the road than in studios, and so we felt a desire to create something that captures the ever-undulating aliveness of our music through time.
