Aerosmith reunites with Run-DMC for ‘Walk This Way’ at Hollywood Bowl
Aerosmith played the second of two California Dream On shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Run-DMC joined the band for “Walk This Way,” revisiting their landmark 1986 collaboration.
The night also featured guest performers including Guns N’ Roses, Heart, the Black Crowes and Billy Idol.
Steven Tyler rejected the claim that these were Aerosmith’s final shows, after comedian Bill Burr had described the opening-night performance that way.
The concerts were not advertised as the band’s last, but Aerosmith has not played a full concert since its Peace Out farewell tour was called off in 2023 after three shows.
All five original members were onstage at both Hollywood Bowl shows, though drummer John Douglas played on Sunday and founding drummer Joey Kramer joined for “Walk This Way.”
Tyler’s comments leave open the possibility of future special-event appearances, but no next performance was announced.
