Where the Mask Ends follows a dangerous marriage built on a false identity
Where the Mask Ends is an ongoing Chinese historical drama about mistaken identities, family secrets and romance.
Poor A Chou looks exactly like wealthy noblewoman Wei Rao, whose cruel reputation shapes how others see her.
When heir Lu Zhuo is seriously ill after an injury, his family arranges a marriage they hope will bring him good fortune.
Wei Rao refuses the marriage, so A Chou takes her place to protect her mother, not knowing how dangerous life in the manor will be.
Lu Zhuo distrusts A Chou, believing she is Wei Rao and blaming her for past wrongs, while the real Wei Rao schemes in the background.
