Martha Graeff ordered to testify in US inquiry into Banco Master assets

A US bankruptcy court has ordered Martha Graeff to testify in an inquiry into assets linked to Banco Master.

Graeff is the former fiancée of Daniel Vorcaro, the bank’s former controller, and is being called as a witness, not as a defendant.

The bank’s liquidator is tracing money and property that may be connected to Vorcaro and his business group.

The court order seeks documents about transfers, bank records, company dealings and valuable goods, including art and luxury items.

It also covers Graeff Holdings LLC, a Florida company where Graeff is listed as an administrator.

The testimony is scheduled for December 8 in Miami, and requested documents are due by November 30.

Graeff’s lawyer said she had not received the order and that she was available to answer questions.

The inquiry aims to identify assets that could be recovered for the bank, but the sources do not say what the court will decide after the testimony.
