Suahasil Names Five Senior Officials in Indonesia Finance Ministry Reshuffle
Indonesia’s Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara appointed five senior ministry officials on Friday, October 23.
Astera Primanto Bhakti became secretary-general, while Tri Budhianto took over as treasury director-general.
Nufransa Wira Sakti became director-general for fiscal balance, and Neilmaldrin Noor was appointed the minister’s tax oversight adviser.
Hidayat Amir became the minister’s adviser on macroeconomics and international finance.
Astera had led the treasury directorate since 2022 and has worked in the ministry for more than 30 years.
Suahasil asked Neilmaldrin to strengthen data-based tax oversight by using the Coretax system and linking information across ministry units, to help identify risks and broaden the tax base.
