Brazilian activists have launched WhatsApp dating groups for left-wing singles under the name “Tinder of Lula’s Army.”
The idea draws on a fictional Ministry of Dating meme from Lula’s 2022 campaign, which the president later joked he had failed to create.
A WhatsApp channel sends announcements, while people chat in groups organized by area code.
The first groups, for cities and regions including Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and the Federal District, filled up within hours.
