Three defendants accused of secretly filming women and selling videos
Japanese prosecutors accuse three defendants of secretly filming women during sexual encounters and selling the videos online.
The case involves a man, Yohei Ono, and two women described as his wife and his partner, in Tokyo.
Prosecutors say the group used social media to contact women seeking paid dates, then filmed encounters in hotels in Shinjuku.
They say the videos were sold on a site called myfans, earning about 50 million yen over more than two years.
Police found more than 800 videos featuring about 100 women on seized devices, as well as restraints and a stun gun.
The case came to light after a teenage woman escaped from an apartment where she said she had been held for about two months and contacted police.
Two women have described violence and coercive control by Ono during court proceedings, while prosecutors have brought several charges against the three defendants.
The supplied accounts do not say when the case will next be heard.
