BSI Expo in Jakarta Brings Together More Than 400 Local Businesses
Bank Syariah Indonesia opened its 2026 international expo at the Jakarta International Convention Center on October 23.
The event brings together more than 400 local businesses selling goods and services including fashion, food, cosmetics and travel.
The expo runs through October 25, and the bank is targeting about 65,000 visitors and up to 5 trillion rupiah in consumer transactions.
BSI says the event is part of its Buy Local Go Global campaign, which encourages people to choose Indonesian products and helps businesses prepare to reach overseas customers.
The bank says local firms can benefit from financing, digital services and business connections, including links through its Dubai network.
The expo is intended to strengthen local businesses before they expand into international markets, including the global halal economy.
