Ramayana advance bookings pass 7 crore rupees ahead of November release

Ramayana: Part One has passed 7 crore rupees in Indian advance bookings ahead of its scheduled November 5, 2026 release.

The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and stars Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana.

It is the first instalment of a two-part adaptation of the Indian epic, with the second part planned for Diwali 2027.

Booking figures differ between updates: an earlier tally put sales at about 4.78 crore rupees, while later figures were just over 7 crore.

Premium seats in some cinemas cost as much as 3,170 rupees, while prices vary by city, screen, format and showtime.

The high prices have drawn concern from some fans, who also point to booking-app convenience fees.

Advance bookings are underway, and the film is scheduled for worldwide release on November 5.
