Stallone Defends Casting His Daughter in ‘Tulsa King’

Sylvester Stallone says he hired his daughter, Scarlet Rose, for Tulsa King, the Paramount+ drama in which he stars.

Stallone openly called the decision nepotism and said parents want to give their children every advantage.

Rose plays Spencer, a barista drawn into Dwight Manfredi’s world, where she gets work caring for horses at a ranch.

In the show’s fourth season, her character becomes more involved in Dwight’s criminal operation.

Rose has appeared in 22 episodes and says working with her father has brought them closer.

Stallone says opening the door is only the start: he believes she must show she can maintain her performance herself.
