Milky Mist September-quarter revenue rises 41.6%, profit jumps 174.5%
Indian dairy company Milky Mist reported a 41.6% rise in September-quarter revenue to ₹1,089.4 crore.
Net profit climbed 174.5% to ₹77.94 crore compared with the same quarter a year earlier.
The company said demand for value-added dairy products helped it grow despite agricultural inflation, El Niño and geopolitical uncertainty.
Unlike companies focused on pouch milk, Milky Mist sells products such as paneer, yoghurt and ice cream.
Its protein range, including high-protein paneer and lactose-free milk, provides 12–14% of revenue, and the company aims to raise that share to 20%.
Higher sales volumes helped widen its Ebitda margin to 15.17%, from 13.95% a year earlier, despite higher milk costs.
Milky Mist plans to expand its product range, distribution and manufacturing capacity, while growing beyond its strong base in South India.
Milky Mist’s September-quarter revenue from operations rose 41.6% year on year to ₹1,089.4 crore.
Net profit increased 174.5% to ₹77.94 crore, from ₹28.39 crore a year earlier.
The company said growth was driven by volume gains and demand for value-added dairy products.
CEO K. Rathnam said inflation, El Niño and geopolitical uncertainty had limited impact on the business.

What people are saying
As far as we are concerned, we don’t see much impact on all three parameters (agricultural inflation, El Niño, and geopolitical uncertainties). Even with these three parameters prevailing, we can grow because we are not in pouch milk. We are only in value-added products
Despite prevailing agricultural inflation, the impact of El Nino and geopolitical uncertainties, we have achieved higher revenue growth, improved margins and profitability
