Gießen teens visit Czech partner city Hradec Králové
Twenty teenagers from Gießen visited Hradec Králové in the Czech Republic from October 3 to 8, accompanied by four adults.
The trip was organised at the initiative of Gießen’s city parliament to strengthen ties between the two partner cities.
The group toured Hradec Králové, took a cruise on the Elbe and hiked about 10 kilometres in the Eagle Mountains.
They also visited Prague and met the city’s mayor.
At a local school, the visitors learned about Czech education and met local teenagers.
The visit gave the young people opportunities to share experiences and build personal connections.
