Police investigate reported sex offences on Narrabeen walking trails
Police say five women were sexually touched or harassed on Narrabeen trails over five days.
The incidents were reported on walking tracks around Narrabeen Lagoon and Bilarong Reserve in Sydney’s northern beaches.
Witnesses described people riding e-bikes, but the descriptions differ, and police say more than one offender may be involved.
A woman also reported being sexually touched near the lagoon on October 1.
Police have formed Strike Force Mexvo to investigate whether the incidents are linked.
The investigation matters because the incidents happened on popular trails used by walkers and runners.
Police are asking anyone with information, mobile-phone or dashcam footage, or who witnessed an incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
