PM-Kisan’s 24th payment expected in October, but date is unconfirmed

India’s PM-Kisan scheme gives eligible farm families ₹6,000 a year in three direct payments of ₹2,000.

The previous payment was issued on June 20, 2026, and farmers are waiting for the 24th instalment.

Reports have floated October 25, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is due to visit Varanasi, while another report expects payment on October 30.

The government has not officially confirmed either date, and the scheme’s website has not announced when the money will be sent.

Farmers need completed e-KYC, verified land records, correct Aadhaar details and accurate bank information to avoid payment problems.

Income-tax-paying farmers and some government employees and pensioners are among those excluded from the scheme.

Farmers can check their payment status and beneficiary-list entry on the official PM-Kisan website; the payment date remains to be announced.
