Saudi export bank extends 43.22 billion riyals in credit facilities

Saudi Arabia’s Export-Import Bank provided 43.22 billion riyals in credit facilities in the first nine months of 2026.

That was 27.12% more than a year earlier, when facilities totalled about 34 billion riyals.

The support included 11.44 billion riyals disbursed for export financing and 31.78 billion riyals of exports covered by credit insurance.

Small and medium-sized businesses made up 36.7% of the bank’s customers.

The bank aims to help Saudi companies grow non-oil exports and compete in international markets.

Its financing, guarantees and insurance are intended to fill funding gaps and reduce the risks of trading internationally.

The bank says it will continue developing credit solutions and working with local and international partners to help Saudi products and services reach more markets.
