Inter and Milan unveil Generali Stadium, planned to replace San Siro

Inter and Milan unveiled plans for Generali Stadium in Milan on October 29, 2026.

The new venue is planned as the future home of both clubs, replacing San Siro.

The stadium is designed by Foster + Partners and MANICA, led by Norman Foster and David Manica.

It is planned to have 71,500 seats, steep stands close to the pitch and a distinctive roof and facade.

The design is intended to carry San Siro’s spirit into a new era while also hosting events beyond football, such as concerts.

Generali will be the stadium’s naming partner, under a long-term agreement with the clubs.

The clubs say the new stadium is expected to be ready for the 2031-32 season, with construction and completion still ahead.
