NasDem aims to win more seats in Indonesia’s 2029 election

NasDem says it wants more seats in Indonesia’s parliament in the 2029 election.

The party’s deputy chairman, Saan Mustopa, announced the goal at an event marking NasDem’s 15th anniversary.

NasDem won 36 seats in 2014, 59 in 2019 and 69 in 2024.

The party says rising support brings a responsibility to serve the public, not just to win elections.

It also wants to help protect children without parents and improve their access to education.

The party hopes to build on its gains in 2029, while its anniversary is also a chance to review its record and strengthen its public contribution.
