VIVANT episode ends with Nozaki shot ahead of season finale
In the latest episode of TBS drama VIVANT, intelligence agent Yusuke Nogi and his partner Kurosu uncover a secret linked to nuclear fusion research.
Researcher Elisha Mamadov reveals that Jamine, a girl Nogi is trying to protect, is his daughter Prisha and holds a key to unlocking the research data.
The episode then reveals that broker Tairan has trapped Nogi and Kurosu to sell them and the information to the Chinese group Shinshi.
Shinshi agent Liu Mingxuan shoots intelligence officer Nozaki, saying the group wants the information for itself.
The episode ends before Nozaki’s fate is confirmed, prompting viewers to wonder whether the shooting was staged or whether he survived.
The story’s central stakes are control of the nuclear fusion data, which several groups are trying to obtain.
The next episode is the season finale, where viewers may learn what happened to Nozaki and what the data means.
