Footage From a Canceled Jurassic Park Animated Series Has Surfaced
A pitch trailer for a canceled Jurassic Park cartoon has surfaced online more than 30 years after the first film.
The footage is for a planned animated series called “Escape From Jurassic Park,” which never went into production.
The series was planned as a direct sequel to the 1993 film, set after the events at the dinosaur park.
Its story would have followed BioSyn building a rival dinosaur park, which led to another dinosaur outbreak.
The first season was designed as a connected story, with episodes building toward the rival park’s opening.
The footage gives fans a glimpse of a more mature, serialized take on the franchise than many cartoons of the period.
The person who shared the trailer said more information would come soon.
