Ukraine says military Starshield service has been restored

Ukraine says its military Starshield access has been restored after service disruptions.

Starshield is the military version of SpaceX’s Starlink satellite network, used by Ukrainian forces.

On Oct.

14, SpaceX imposed a speed limit of 100 miles per hour, and users also reported unstable signals.

The disruption affected military operations, including the use of strike and interceptor drones.

Ukraine relies on these systems for attacks in Russian-occupied territory and for defense against Russian attack drones.

The Defense Ministry says service is operational, based on reports from military units.

It has not said whether all restrictions have been lifted, and it is still seeking to clarify why they were imposed.
