Deutsche Börse raises 2026 targets as earnings grow

Deutsche Börse raised its targets for 2026 after reporting strong third-quarter growth.

The Frankfurt-based financial-market group said higher interest rates and larger cash balances boosted its treasury results, prompting it to raise that forecast by about €100 million.

In the third quarter, revenue rose 13% to €1.63 billion and operating profit increased 16% to €978 million.

More European investors are putting money into market-based products, increasing the assets Deutsche Börse holds and transactions it handles.

The company provides services including trading, settlement, securities custody and market data, and is expanding beyond the share market to reduce its reliance on it.

It now expects 2026 operating profit above €3.9 billion and revenue above €6.5 billion, with the revenue forecast excluding interest-rate effects unchanged.
