Valencia and Villarreal meet for a final derby at Mestalla

Valencia host Villarreal at Mestalla in a LaLiga match scheduled for October 24.

After nine games, Valencia sit 19th with six points, while Villarreal are 12th with nine.

Valencia have yet to win at home this season, adding pressure as they try to climb out of the relegation zone.

Villarreal are also seeking a better run after inconsistent results, including a recent league draw and a Champions League defeat.

This is expected to be the teams’ last meeting at Mestalla, which is due to close and be replaced by a new stadium.

The match gives Valencia a chance to seek a morale-boosting win and Villarreal an opportunity to improve their league position.
