Turkey to announce 38,000 non-physician health jobs before 2026 ends

Turkey plans to recruit 38,000 health workers outside doctor roles before the end of 2026, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said.

He made the announcement at a ceremony for hospital openings and construction in Istanbul.

The jobs would be in the Health Ministry’s health services, and could include nurses, midwives, paramedics and medical technicians.

The recruitment is intended to add staff who provide care and other health services in public institutions.

The number of posts is set at 38,000, but the ministry has not yet announced how they will be divided among professions.

It has also not given application dates or eligibility conditions.

The ministry is expected to publish the schedule and details in the coming days.
