Bortoleto unveils Audi’s São Paulo GP look and a Senna tribute helmet

Audi has revealed a special livery for the São Paulo Grand Prix, which takes place this weekend at Interlagos.

The design uses green shades and map outlines of São Paulo state, reflecting the identity created for the event by team sponsor Adidas.

Brazilian driver Gabriel Bortoleto will race in front of his home crowd for Audi, using car number 5.

He has also prepared a white helmet with graffiti and a tribute to Ayrton Senna.

The tribute marks 35 years since Senna’s 1991 Brazilian Grand Prix win, when he won despite his car being stuck in sixth gear.

Bortoleto said he hopes the car will be as fast as it looks, and described the support from Brazilian fans as exceptional.

German teammate Nico Hülkenberg also said he enjoys racing at Interlagos and values the atmosphere in Latin America.
