Carrefour expands rapid delivery to 700 stores across Spain

Carrefour now offers rapid delivery from 700 stores across Spain after adding 200 locations this year.

The French retailer works with delivery platforms including Glovo, Uber Eats and Just Eat.

The service is available through several store formats, with more than 450 Carrefour Express shops and more than 140 Carrefour Market stores included.

The service is designed for urgent, last-minute shopping, unlike standard online grocery orders.

Carrefour says customers can receive orders at home in about half an hour, with the same quality and prices as in its physical stores.

The company is testing overnight delivery in Madrid and Barcelona for urgent orders outside usual hours.

Carrefour says it aims to meet changing consumer needs, but has not given a timeline for expanding the overnight trial.

We want a last-minute shop to be as easy as opening an app and having the order at home in half an hour, while maintaining the same quality and prices as in our physical stores.
