Justus pressed Vorcaro over an investment in SteelCorp
Messages found on Daniel Vorcaro's seized phone show Roberto Justus pressing him for a SteelCorp investment.
In December 2024, Justus said Vorcaro had promised to resolve the investment with João Carlos Mansur, but it remained unfinished.
Justus said the contract had been signed in August and SteelCorp needed the money to pursue its business plans.
He also said he had passed up other opportunities because he believed in the partnership, and wrote, “I'm sure I don't deserve this.”
Vorcaro signed papers, but the SteelCorp deal was never completed.
In a separate message sent hours before Vorcaro's first arrest on November 17, Justus congratulated him on a proposed sale of Banco Master to Fictor.
That proposed sale also did not go ahead, and the messages show two business deals involving Vorcaro that failed to close.
