Omar El Mayer evicted from Big Brother before the final

Omar El Mayer was evicted from Big Brother on Wednesday, two days before the final.

Fellow housemate Frankie was also evicted after they received the fewest votes from viewers to win.

More than 22,000 viewers complained about Omar’s behaviour towards his on-off girlfriend, Rhianna Collins, while they were in the house.

Viewers described his behaviour as controlling and coercive, pointing to things he said during arguments with Rhianna.

Rhianna said she had watched the arguments back and felt she needed to protect herself, while also saying she still had love for Omar.

Six housemates remain in the competition: Catrin, Rochelle, Sam, Lynx, Twinks and Yasmin.

The public vote will decide the winner at Thursday’s final.
