Hazlewood takes six wickets as Australia beat South Africa by 214 runs

Josh Hazlewood took six wickets for 49 runs in the fourth innings of the first Test against South Africa at Kingsmead in Durban.

His career-best figures helped Australia win by 214 runs after South Africa were bowled out for 206 while chasing a target of 421.

The hosts began the final day at 102 for four and needed another 319 runs to win.

Hazlewood took eight wickets across the match, bringing his Test career total to 311 and moving him past Brett Lee's 310 wickets.

He is now level with India's Ishant Sharma and Zaheer Khan, who also took 311 Test wickets.

Hazlewood also matched a Durban record: he is only the second Australian to take five or more wickets in a fourth innings there, after Shane Warne did so in 2006.
