Kırıkkale scratch-card buyer wins 8 million lira

Kırıkkale scratch-card buyer wins 8 million lira

A customer in Kırıkkale won the 8 million lira top prize on a scratch card.

The card was called 100’e Katla and was bought from a Milli Piyango outlet in the city’s Yenidoğan neighbourhood.

The game is part of Turkey’s Kazı Kazan scratch-card games.

The outlet’s owner, İbrahim Aygün, said the customer was someone he knew and initially seemed to be joking about the win.

Aygün said he learned the prize was genuine after a field manager called on Monday night.

He described it as the biggest prize paid out in Kırıkkale so far.

He also said demand for the game rose after the win, but no further details about the winner or what they plan to do with the money were given.
