Hyundai Motor Group to showcase hydrogen commercial vehicle technology
Hyundai Motor Group will present hydrogen commercial vehicle technology at the World Hydrogen Expo in Goyang, South Korea, from Nov.
4 to 6.
The company plans to unveil a more durable fuel-cell system designed for commercial vehicles that travel long distances and carry heavy loads.
It will also demonstrate a robot refuelling a hydrogen-powered cleaning truck and show software that monitors vehicle operation and faults.
The displays focus on making hydrogen vehicles easier to operate, refuel and maintain in transport work.
Hyundai will also show a low-floor hydrogen bus being developed to improve access for passengers with limited mobility; low-floor intercity buses are due to become mandatory in 2027.
The expo will bring together 190 companies and organizations from 11 countries, and a conference on its opening day will discuss hydrogen projects, investment and international cooperation.
Hyundai will offer test drives of a hydrogen bus and truck, while the company says it wants hydrogen commercial vehicles to become a trusted choice for transport operators.
