Aramco takes 49% stake in Saudi AI company Humain

An Aramco subsidiary has acquired 49% of Humain, a Saudi artificial intelligence company, while the Public Investment Fund keeps a 51% stake.

Humain was launched in May 2025 and is developing data centres, computing infrastructure, cloud services and AI models.

Aramco plans to contribute about 9.9 billion riyals in 2026 and transfer key AI, computing and digital technology assets to Humain.

The company aims to build an AI business covering both the infrastructure that powers AI and the services that use it.

Humain plans to reach 3 gigawatts of AI data-centre capacity by 2030, as demand for computing grows in Saudi Arabia and worldwide.

Aramco expects to use Humain’s infrastructure and services in industrial applications, while the two shareholders will oversee its expansion.
