Indonesia plans launch of clay-tile roofing program in Majalengka
Indonesia plans to launch its Gentengisasi roofing program in Majalengka, West Java, on November 8.
President Prabowo Subianto has been invited to lead the launch.
Thirty-four small businesses have prepared 2.4 million clay tiles that have passed Indonesia’s national standards testing.
The tiles are planned to be transported by 600 trucks.

He has said the government will support local areas in carrying out the effort, using materials available in Indonesia.
