Anna Rosenwasser cancels appearance on Swiss TV show
Swiss lawmaker Anna Rosenwasser has cancelled her planned appearance on SRF’s “Late Night Switzerland.”
She said she withdrew because host Stefan Büsser previously interviewed German comedian Luke Mockridge, who faced allegations of sexual misconduct.
The criminal investigation into Mockridge was discontinued, but Rosenwasser said she was shocked that Büsser had given him a prominent platform.
She said appearing on the show could be seen as legitimizing Büsser’s work.
Rosenwasser also criticized Büsser’s satirical segment about SP youth politician Vera Çelik.
She had originally agreed to appear to present her political views to a wider audience.
