Bank Mandiri Says Jhonlin Can Repay Rp40 Trillion Credit Facility
Bank Mandiri says Jhonlin Baratama can meet its loan obligations using income from its coal businesses.
The Indonesian bank has approved a credit facility of Rp40 trillion, of which Rp17 trillion has been used.
The financing supports development and other needs of Jhonlin Baratama and its business group in coal and related sectors.
To assess repayment, the bank counted cash flow from existing coal operations and tested how changes in coal prices and production could affect payments.
JARR and PGUN shares are additional collateral, not the main source of repayment.
Bank Mandiri says the total collateral coverage ratio is 150%, calculated using the lowest intraday prices for those shares over the past month.
If collateral coverage falls short, the agreement allows more collateral or a reduction in the outstanding loan beyond scheduled principal payments.
Bank Mandiri says Jhonlin Baratama has sufficient ability to meet all obligations under its credit facility.
The facility has a Rp40 trillion limit, of which Rp17 trillion has been used.
The bank says repayment will rely on cash flows from Jhonlin Group’s existing coal businesses.
Shares in Jhonlin Agro Raya and Pradiksi Gunatama serve as additional collateral.
Mandiri says the collateral coverage ratio remains at 150% and the loan agreement allows for more collateral or a reduction in outstanding credit if coverage falls short.
