Hercules Takes Land Disputes to Indonesia’s Agrarian Ministry
Hercules Rosario de Marshal went to Indonesia’s ATR/BPN ministry on Monday over land disputes.
He leads GRIB Jaya, an Indonesian organization, and said ministry representatives received him.
He made two demands about disputed land in Jakarta.
One concerns Arjuna Bowling in West Jakarta, where he wants a land-related decision cancelled.
The other concerns 65 hectares linked to PT Summarecon, where he wants the land’s ownership status restored from building-use rights.
Hercules said his group has legal documents and evidence, and accused ministry officials of ignoring them and treating the public poorly.
He also said Minister Nusron Wahid was being called in by the Corruption Eradication Commission, but gave no details of what would happen next.

Hercules said his group had legal grounds and evidence for its demands, but ministry officials had ignored them.
He also criticized the ministry’s service to people who bring legal documents.
The ministry received Hercules through a representative, according to him.
