Banana Ball plans Mexico and Canada tour and unveils two-field game

Banana Ball will expand its 2027 tour to Mexico and Canada, with games planned in Monterrey, Tijuana, Winnipeg and Toronto.

The tour will visit 79 stadiums across 74 cities, including stops at the Field of Dreams in Iowa and Cooperstown, New York.

The league also announced Banana Ball 360, a new format that uses two playing fields placed at opposite corners of a football stadium.

Teams will switch fields between innings, and the format is set to debut at Notre Dame Stadium on June 26.

The new layout aims to improve views for fans, including those seated far from the action in large stadiums.

Banana Ball says demand is growing, with its ticket wait list reaching 5 million last year, and it plans to stage games in both large venues and smaller settings.
