Warren Joins El-Sayed in Michigan Senate Race’s Final Campaign Push
Abdul El-Sayed and Michigan Democrats made a final push for votes on Monday, the day before midterm Election Day.
Sen.
Elizabeth Warren joined El-Sayed at a rally at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, where he urged supporters to vote.
The rally came after Rep.
Haley Stevens, El-Sayed’s former primary rival, endorsed Republican Mike Rogers on Sunday.
The endorsement led the state Democratic Party to expel Stevens and drew strong criticism from party leaders and allies.
More than 2.3 million Michigan voters had already cast ballots by Monday, but the effect of Stevens’ move on those still to vote was unclear.
Polls reopen statewide Tuesday, and El-Sayed said voting was the way supporters could influence the result.

You know courage when you see it,
But for the rest, it could matter a hell of a lot.
