Asus ExpertBook A7 pairs a metal build with a matte OLED screen
Asus is launching the ExpertBook A7, a new business laptop available with Intel or AMD processors.
It starts at €1,219, placing it in the entry-level segment of Asus’s business laptop range.
Its 14-inch aluminum body is slim and weighs 1.2 kg, while the matte OLED touchscreen has a 2.8K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
The screen’s matte surface and 500-nit brightness are intended to make it comfortable to use in bright places.
Intel models use efficient but relatively low-performance processors, so with 16 GB of RAM they are best suited to everyday office tasks rather than heavy multitasking.
An AMD version with a Ryzen AI 7 345 is also available and is expected to offer somewhat more CPU performance.
Early testing has found the laptop promising, including its battery life, and a full review is due in a few days.
