Dani Olmo out for about a month with adductor injury

Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo will miss about a month because of an adductor injury.

The club confirmed the injury on Wednesday after he was hurt in Barcelona’s 4-2 defeat by Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

Olmo will miss Sunday’s El Clásico against Real Madrid, a key match in the Spanish league’s 10th round.

The game is scheduled to take place at Barcelona’s Spotify Camp Nou.

He is expected to miss four Barcelona matches, including games against Alavés, Aston Villa and Atlético Madrid.

The injury is also expected to rule him out of Spain’s next national-team call-up.

His absence adds to Barcelona’s injury problems ahead of a busy run of important matches.
