The Jackal to host Sanremo 2027's PrimaFestival

Stefano De Martino announced that The Jackal will host PrimaFestival, the daily programme ahead of Italy's 2027 Sanremo music festival.

The announcement came in a video shown on Italian television.

The four members named are Ciro Priello, Fabio Balsamo, Aurora Leone and Gianluca Fru, all part of the Naples-based comedy group.

Their job will be to share previews and behind-the-scenes stories before the festival performances.

Sanremo 2027 is scheduled for February 16 to 20, and will be the contest's 77th edition.

PrimaFestival gives viewers a daily introduction to the event before the main programme.

The Jackal have worked with Sanremo before, including Priello's role hosting PrimaFestival in 2022 and Leone's co-hosting of Dopofestival in 2026.
