French TV director Didier Fraisse dies at 65 after long illness

French television director Didier Fraisse has died at 65 after a long illness, his family said.

He worked on popular French programmes including *Les Douze Coups de midi*, *Le Bigdil* and *Le Juste Prix*.

His work also reached beyond game shows, including broadcasts of the Olympics and the Roland-Garros tennis tournament.

Fraisse worked with presenters such as Jean-Luc Reichmann, who called him “mon Dédé” in a tribute.

Cyril Féraud, Bruno Guillon and other TV figures paid tribute after his family announced his death.

Their messages remembered him as a generous colleague, friend and family man.

The tributes highlighted his impact on French television, but no further plans were reported.
