US Treasury Secretary Bessent to Skip IMF and World Bank Meetings

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent will not travel to Bangkok for the IMF and World Bank annual meetings.

The meetings run from Oct.

12 to 18.

The Treasury Department said Bessent has official duties at home.

Two other Treasury officials will attend, including for a planned G20 finance ministers' meeting on Oct.
