‘Zootopia 3’ may take its story beyond the city
Disney is developing a third Zootopia film, according to Jared Bush, Disney Animation’s chief creative officer.
Bush said Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will remain central to the story.
The film is expected to introduce birds to the animated world, following a hint in the second film.

The setting could broaden the series, which has previously focused on the city and its animal residents.
No release date is set; Bush said timing depends partly on the film’s development and Disney Animation’s other projects.

What people are saying
This is something that is going to take a lot of time to get right
I think this may be the first time that we travel outside the bounds of Zootopia City itself
That could be in a few different years, depending on how that movie is doing, how the movies around it are doing, how our world is doing
