iPhone Duo AMA answers reveal charging and screen-use limits

Apple’s first folding phone, the iPhone Duo, drew many questions after a reviewer hosted question-and-answer sessions on Threads and X. The reviewer said opinions are divided over features including the lack of Face ID and a telephoto camera.

The unfolded phone can slowly rotate on a MagSafe charging stand because its weight is uneven, so the reviewer advises against charging it that way.

Its back is also too short for a standard MagSafe Wallet.

A vertical wallpaper can show more of the image when the phone opens, spanning the outer and inner displays.

The Duo can show two apps side by side and move content between screens, but it cannot run more than two apps at once or show the same app on both screens.

The Books app is optimized for the device, while Kindle was not optimized in the reviewer's test.

You cannot, but if you want to maximize your social media, I found that you could run TikTok and Instagram Reels in side-by-side windows.
