Bahri orders three oil tankers to be built in Saudi Arabia
Saudi shipping company Bahri ordered three oil tankers to be built in Saudi Arabia under a contract worth 1.7 billion riyals.
The deal is with International Maritime Industries, a shipbuilder in which Bahri owns a 19.9% stake.
Each tanker will have a deadweight capacity of 320,000 tonnes, and deliveries are planned in stages during 2029 and 2030.
The order supports Bahri’s plan to build more of its ships locally and update its fleet.
