Arizona authorities say woman found in Mexico is not Shayna Feinman

Shayna Feinman, an Arizona woman missing since March 2024, has not been found.

Tijuana officials in Mexico said they had located her in the city’s Encino neighborhood and confirmed her identity.

US authorities later said physical evidence showed the woman was not Feinman, reversing the apparent breakthrough.

Feinman was last believed to be walking to an acquaintance’s home in rural Yavapai County, and her abandoned car and cellphone were found nearby.

Her family is still waiting for answers as investigators continue to work with them.

Two men previously charged in connection with her disappearance had their charges dismissed, and the case remains under investigation.

Authorities are asking the public for information, with a $20,000 reward still offered.
