Wavve adds previews as Coupang Play expands its anime lineup

Two South Korean streaming services are changing how viewers can access their content.

Wavve lets people preview content without logging in, offering short samples of shows, films and live channels.

Its Basic subscription will also let viewers watch on TVs at no extra cost, and non-members can use its AI golf-streaming feature for free.

Coupang Play has partnered with Crunchyroll to offer a Crunchyroll Pass.

The pass adds popular and new anime, including films from the Chainsaw Man and Demon Slayer series.

The changes aim to make viewing easier and broaden choices for people in South Korea.

The companies say they plan to use the partnership to reach more local anime viewers; no further rollout details were given.
